Accelerated Ray Tracing

Fall 2022, CSCE 441: Computer Graphics

Full implementation of ray-tracing using only defined shape and light vectors to render a realistically illuminated 3D representation of a scene. Accelerated by the implementation of the Bounding Volume Hierarchy. Made using C++ and OpenGL.

Cultural VR: Piñata de la Muerte

Fall of 2022, VIST 370: Interactive Virtual Environments.

A fully immersive VR game focusing on celebrating the Day of the Dead in Mexico. Made using Unreal Engine 5 and various 3D modeling softwares.

I was in charge of working with the concept design of the level & 3D models, creating the candy models/textures, and designing the game mechanics of the piñata.

Projection Mapping

Fall of 2022, VIST 370: Interactive Virtual Environments.

An immersive projection mapping exhibition of the different emotional representations that colors have in theory. Made using MadMapper and Arduino Uno Boards.

I was in charge of the production of the subject matter, the programming of the Arduino board to MadMapper, and the projection display.
